My Game of the Year pick could have been any of the five games selected, as all were fun in their own way. It’s not a cop-out when you cannot choose — haha! — so I flipped a coin and voted for Resident Evil 8: Village.

Surprising to see Deathloop get the most nominations with 9 in total, considering most fans seemed to have dropped the game after a week. Still, its game world and timeloop gameplay mechanics seem to have made it a critical darling.

One issue Geoff Keighley needs to condemn in front of his half a billion viewers this year are the on-going horrific events involving Activision-Blizzard & CEO Bobby Kotick, who needs to be fired for knowingly letting the company’s female staff get s*xually harassed for decades… and worse is that he allegedly was part of the problem, which we all know is true. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. 🙁
