As you can see, the popular character known as Ghost appears in a banner promoting the rest of the Call of Duty franchise. Despite this, if you search for the game on Steam, there is no listing for the upcoming title.
If Modern Warfare 2 does become available to download on Steam, this would be the first time a new Call of Duty title launched on the storefront since 2017. There hasn’t been an official confirmation of the move. But now that Microsoft is acquiring the publisher/developer, seeing CoD return to Steam won’t be unusual. However, we should not have to wait long to hear more details as we get closer to the October 28 release date.
