Electronic Arts has announced the Battlefield 2042 Open Beta will be held between October 6-9, 2021 on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Early access is available on October 6-7, 2021 for all players who pre-order the game or are current EA Play members. Pre-loading the beta download starts October 5, 2021 at 06:00 UTC on PC and 07:00 UTC on consoles.
Be among the first to experience the next generation of all-out warfare in the Battlefield 2042 Open Beta. Beta players will be able to join the fight on the Orbital map only, with a diverse selection of Specialists, cutting-edge weaponry, and vehicles to choose from.

What’s in the Battlefield 2042 Beta?:
- MODE: CONQUEST — Battlefield’s massive, iconic sandbox mode returns – the action now centers around sectors consisting of several flags instead of individual control points.
- MAP: ORBITAL — It’s a race against time and hostile conditions as you fight around the site of an imminent rocket launch.
- SPECIALISTS — The four Specialists you can try out in the Open Beta are: Webster Mackay, Maria Falck, Pyotr “Boris” Guskovsky, and Wikus “Casper” van Daele.
